A quality management system (QMS) is a system that documents processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives. It helps an organization to meet its customer needs and improve its effectiveness and efficiency on a continuous basis. The ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system to provide products and services that meet the regulatory and customer requirements and so to enhance customer satisfaction.
